This screen matches the type of presentation you could expect from a bank statement. Note that the column for Budget Category can be used instead to show the Reference field. This Reference field has various uses; to show cheque (check) numbers, (which can be automatically incremented), to show the value in the original currency, if the 'foreign' option was used, or just as a free field for comments. The top window can be set to show Initial or Current Balance, or when reconciling a Bank Statement, it will automatically show the Reconciled Balance.
This screen is for handling foreign currencies. The program works for a worse case of a person living in Country A (The Base Currency), having financial dealings in Country B (The Group Currency) and visiting Country C (The Secondary Currency).
The program works on the principle that you only maintain transactions in an Account while they have not been cleared, or you do not have written confirmation, or they may need to change. Once a Bank Statement has arrived, and you have reconciled the entries, then those entries can be archived in a separate file, which can be of limitless length. The screen shows an example of the archived entries from my Compuserve registration system.
This is the first of the optional modules and handles Scheduled Transactions. You can setup bills to paid from an Account, payments to be credited into an Account, or even transfers between accounts. These can be set to occur at any time interval, the picture shows 1 Annual and 2 Monthly entries. If required an order could be set to occur once every 3 weeks, for 7 times, in which case the screen would read 3W(7).
This module sets up Budget categories similar to that used in Quicken. When a transaction is entered in the main program, there is the opportunity to allocate it to a specific category, and this screen is automatically updated when the transaction is entered.
The next optional module is a screen very similar to the Financial Calendar in Quicken. By entering planned expenditure against speciic agencies, an annual budget can be determinded. After a monthly transfer figure is determinded (1/12 of the total ?), then the screen will show the balance each month. As each transaction is entered in the main program, the entry is automatically corrected and reconciled (shown in Bold).

This optional module allows you to keep track of your investments. As well as a current reading of the value, you can maintain a historical plot of their performance.
This optional module allows you to keep track of the fuel consumption for up to 10 vehicles. it is fully configurable for miles/kms galls/litres etc, and can also be used to maintain a record of servicing. Again, a historical plot can be maintained.
This optional module is based on the Home Inventory module produced for Quicken, and allows you to keep track of your household contents for insurance purposes.
This optional module allows you to keep track of your utility bills. As you see, I read my meters once a week so that the bill doesn't come as a shock.
This final optional module is similar to the transactions and archive modules in the main program, but is optimised to keep track of Expense accounts.
